Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 June 2026
1. The service
Quiet Eulogy is an AI-assisted tool that produces a first-draft eulogy from the details you provide. It is a writing aid, not professional, legal, medical, or grief-counseling advice. The draft is yours to review and edit.
2. Acceptable use
- Only enter information about a person you have the right to write about.
- Do not use the service unlawfully, and do not scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or bypass the paywall or rate limits.
3. Your content
The details you enter and the eulogy you generate belong to you; we claim no ownership of your output. You grant us a limited licence to process your inputs solely to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Our site, interface, and prompts remain ours.
4. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the transaction in dispute. Nothing here excludes liability for our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer-protection law.
5. Payment, delivery & Merchant of Record
Prices are shown at checkout. Payment is processed by Polar, which acts as the Merchant of Record and seller of record for the transaction; Polar handles tax, invoicing, and refund processing, and Polar's buyer terms also apply to your purchase. The digital content is delivered to you online immediately after payment. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
6. Consumer rights
We provide clear disclosures of price, what you receive, and our refund terms. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection law that applies where you live.
7. Changes & termination
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features; changes do not apply retroactively to completed purchases. We may suspend access for breach of these Terms.
8. Severability
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable in a jurisdiction, the remaining provisions stay in effect, and the invalid provision is read, so far as lawful, to best reflect its original intent.
9. Capacity
You confirm you are of the age of full legal capacity where you live and are able to enter this contract. The service is not for minors.
10. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), and the Taipei District Court has jurisdiction, on a non-exclusive basis. As a consumer you keep the right to rely on the mandatory protections of, and to bring proceedings in, the courts of your place of residence; those mandatory rights are unaffected.
11. Operator & disputes
Operated by Quietware. For complaints or disputes, email support@quieteulogy.com; we aim to respond within 2 business days.
